What is Network Marketing?

Network Marketing is simply a distribution system which moves goods or services directly from a manufacturer to the consumer through a network of Independent Distributors.
In the traditional Retail Products path, products are moved from manufacturer to wholesaler, advertiser, retailer and finally the consumer. Compare this with Network Marketing where products are passed from the Manufacturer directly to Independent Distributors.

Do I need to carry inventory?

No. FM GROUP does not require you to carry any inventory. Customers have the option to purchase sample products as part of their Starter Kit.

What is a pyramid scheme?

A pyramid scheme is a non-sustainable business model that involves the exchange of money primarily for enrolling other people into the scheme often without any products or services being delivered. Pyramid schemes are illegal in Canada.

Is FM GROUP a pyramid scheme?

Absolutely not! All Distributors, irrespective of their carrier path with FM GROUP , purchase products directly from FM GROUP at the same wholesale price and resale to customers at suggested catalogue price. There is no bonus or commission earned for enrolling other people, nor is it required.

How do I join FM GROUP Canada?

To become a Canadian Representative, you need to complete and sign our Canadian Application Form. This form must be signed by you and your sponsor (the person who introduced you to FM GROUP Canada). If you do not have a sponsor, FM GROUP Canada we will assign one of our Leaders to you and have them contact you.

You can download an online PDF version of the Application Form and can send the completed and signed Application Form by fax or mail. Upon receiving the online version of the Application Form our Office will send you an Original Application Form. You must complete and return all 3 pages of the Original Application Form to our Office within 30 days. Once authorized by FM GROUP Canada, you will receive 2 copies of the completed Application Form, one for yourself and one for your Sponsor.

You may also optionally purchase a Starter Kit. If your sponsor does not have one for you, you can purchase a Starter Kit directly from FM Group Canada.

Our Starter Kit costs $87.00 (plus applicable taxes) and includes the following:

  • 200 Fragrance samples (1.4ml each)
  • 1 Product Catalogue
  • 1 Make Up Catalogue
  • 1 Marketing Plan
  • 1 DVD


Does a Sponsor receive any compensation for the purchase of a Starter Kit by a new Representative?

No. No one earns any bonus or compensation from the purchase of a Starter Kit. The Starter Kit is used as a working tool in helping Distributors build their business without having to carry any inventory and with minimal investment. The Starter Kit is used by Distributors and their customers for sampling perfumes before making a purchase.

How can I place an order?

Orders can be placed in person, by phone, email or fax.  Orders placed before 2 pm will be shipped the same business day and typically arrive within 1-2 days locally, 1-3 days regionally, and 2-7 days nationally. You will receive an e-mail confirmation that your package has been shipped. If you have any questions about your order please contact our head office at (416) 439-2232.

Can I place and pick up my order in person?

Yes. You can visit our office to place and pick up your order during our office hours.

Can I add to an order I have already placed?

Yes, but only up to 15 minutes after you placed the original order. It is not possible to do it any later as the order is already being processed and prepared to be sent to you. We want to avoid missing any products in the parcels. So please prepare your order carefully and be very clear about the items you request.

What are the payment methods?

Payment can be made by:

  • Cash
  • Visa or MasterCard
  • Debit Card (Interac)


What are the shipping Costs?

Within Ontario
When you order 700 points worth of product shipping is free. Otherwise we offer a flat rate of $8.99 CAD within Ontario.

Outside Ontario
When you order 700 points worth of product shipping is free. Otherwise we offer a flat rate of $15.99 CAD outside Ontario.

Within USA
When you order 700 points worth of product shipping is free. Otherwise we offer the flat rate of $15.99 CAD outside Canada. Please note that Duty charges may apply on certain products.

How am I charged tax on my order?

In accordance with applicable provincial and federal laws, FM GROUP Canada is required to charge 13% Harmonized Sales Tax (HST)

13% HST is collected from our catalogue price on all products sold within Ontario. On products sold and shipped outside of Ontario, HST is collected from our catalogue price at the HST rate for the province being shipped to. outside of Ontario. There is no tax collected on products that are sold and shipped outside of Canada.

FM GROUP Canada does not benefit from the collection of sales tax and we remit all taxes collected directly to the appropriate taxing jurisdiction.

Do I have to pay tax on my commission and earning?

Every Representative is responsible for remitting the taxes on their earnings to Canada Revenue Agency.

What should I do if the product is damaged?

If you notice that a product is damage please inform us immediately and provide a description of what happened to your products.

What if I already registered in another country?

To become our Canadian Representative we require you to fill out our Canadian Application Form and mail it back to us. Your history with FM GROUP and your existing Representative number will remain the same.

How can I get my password?

Once your Application Form has been received it will take approximately two (2) days to process which includes assigning your password. Your password will be e-mailed to you using your Application Form e-mail address. If you don’t have an e-mail address, please contact our head office at 416-439-2232 where we will provide you with your password upon verification.

What are the commission payment rules?

The commission payment rules are as follows:

  1. Commission to FM GROUP Canada Representatives can be paid in any country where there is an existing FM GROUP branch (see Global Branches page). The Representative must specify where they wish to have their commission sent.
  2. For Representatives who don't have a bank account your commission may be paid to you as a rebate on future purchases.The given rebate is the exact amount of earned commission but it cannot exceed 50% of the value of the order. Points for products purchased using your rebate are calculated as normal.
  3. All FM GROUP Representatives can track their commission level, dollar value and accumulated group points for the current month by clicking on the Current Tree section.
  4. You may accumulate your commission for up to 6 months. Upon reaching the minimum amount of $100.00 CAD you will be issued a cheque. Any amount lower than $100 CAD earned may be applied as a rebate on your next order or accumulated until the minimum is reached. Commission is paid after the 6th day of every month. You will also be to see your previous month in the archival tree after the 6th of every month. Your commission will be paid within 16 days.


How often is the catalogue changed?

Our catalogue is typically updated once a year.

Will FM GROUP Canada open another office in Canada?

There will only be one Canadian Head Office which is currently in Toronto, Ontario.
